About Elijah
Elijah Ketchup Sr. has been immersed in music since childhood, growing up in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida. Influenced by the deep musical roots of his family, Elijah began his journey as a drummer at just four years old, playing in his father’s church. By the age of ten, his talent had already taken him to the professional stage with the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA). At thirteen, Elijah became the Minister of Music at his father's church, where he honed his skills on the organ and keyboards, laying the foundation for a remarkable career.
With over 24 years in the music industry, Elijah has built a distinguished career, collaborating with some of the most respected artists and producers in the gospel and R&B genres. His work includes performances and production with icons like Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Daryl Coley, Luther Barnes, Timothy Wright, Deitrick Haddon, Marvin Sapp, Bobby Jones, and Tony Terry. Whether serving as a background singer, musician, or musical director, Elijah’s contributions have left a lasting impact on every project he’s touched.
Elijah’s passion for music is matched only by his commitment to sharing the talents that God has blessed him with. As he continues to evolve as an artist, he remains dedicated to inspiring others through his work.
